Woot! I think Atraya is either blessed or cursed. First a visit from Omei (that was bad) now a visit from Iosyne (whom Atraya is a follower of).

(Congregation): You say, "My Lady, may I ask You a question concerning a part in the book 'The Lore of the Ages'?"
(Congregation): Iosyne says, "Certainly."
(Congregation): You say, "In the passage about the competition of the city creations, I was wondering which city was of Your making. From what I understood, it appeared to be Spinesreach, but I find it difficult to believe that the city would have turned their heads completely from their creator if it was that one."
(Congregation): Iosyne says, "No, I was the one who created Ashtan."
(Congregation): You say, "Ah! Which cities were created by who?"

A soft whispering voice fills your mind, its words projecting an image of a
radiant humanoid form. The captivating voice reaches a crescendo before fading as quickly as it appeared, leaving behind Iosyne, the Muse.

A circular library.

The entrancing form of Iosyne, the Muse is here, wrapped in veils of shimmering essence. A small sign indicates that LIBRARY CATALOG will list the materials in this library. You see a single exit leading west.

Iosyne opens a showcase with glass windows.
Iosyne takes an aged tome entitled, "Lore of the Ages" from a showcase with glass windows.
Iosyne closes a showcase with glass windows.
Iosyne drops an aged tome entitled, "Lore of the Ages".
You perform a graceful curtsey towards Iosyne.
Iosyne takes out the tome from the case and places it on top of the pulpit
closest to it.
Iosyne smiles at you.
She is an Immortal and is a slender female figure with unblemished hands and sandal-clad feet. Her long silken tresses of golden-brown hair have been partially arranged with small combs and hairpins, while most of it has been left to cascade down Her back to Her waist. A pair of thin, rosy lips and a narrow nose makes Her features more humanoid even though Her pale skin is almost translucent in its quality. Her vivid violet eyes are framed by pale lashes and accentuated by Her high cheekbones and thin brows. She has wrapped Her body in elegant white robes, which are held together by several multicolored sashes. She is wearing:
an elegant silver twist comb
a sapphire quill pendant
a simple, but elegant white robe
delicate sandals of engraved ivory
an intricate quill pendant lined with blue

Rising higher in the sky, the sun illuminates the land, confining darkness to the shadows.
Iosyne, the Muse says, "I believe Severn created Hashan."
Comprehension flashes across your face.
You say, "I looked mostly at our current main cities... didn't look at the
smaller villages."
Iosyne, the Muse says, "Well, Haern made the forests, they are certainly no city."
You smile and say, "Thats something rather easy to guess."
Iosyne chuckles long and heartily.
Iosyne, the Muse says, "Aye it would be. it has always been His passion."
You nod your head emphatically.
Iosyne, the Muse says, "Lanos, I believe, created Shallam, or Enorian as it is called now and even though He too used a beach, His result was completely different from Mine."
You nod your head emphatically.
You say, "Ashtan has changed a lot though from its initial form. I don't know if Enorian changed much since though."
Attaining her fullest glory, the shining sun sits upon her throne at the apex of her daily trek through the firmament.
Iosyne, the Muse says, "Not as much, no, and Ashtan seems to have followed My own path in some way. Change is sometimes necessary to allow growth. Ashtan has changed both in mentality and structure since I created it."
You nod your head emphatically.
You say, "I remember when the Bahkatu first appeared within their walls. Everyone was afraid of them at first, but then they followed them into the hatred of the undead. I didn't witness its flooding though, although I was told that once, Ashtan was like the other cities."
Iosyne nods Her head emphatically.
Iosyne, the Muse says, "A hurricane shaped the Misty Isles, and trembling earthquakes still tear at it from time to time."
Comprehension flashes across your face.
You say, "I haven't visited Ashtan for many many years. The short time I spent there, I don't recall any earthquakes."
You ponder the situation.
Iosyne, the Muse says, "Have you considered becoming an ally of the Isles?"
You say, "I have tried again and again."
You say, "I was refused time and time again because I am a guilded Magi."
Iosyne, the Muse says, "And I take it that your guild would not allow you being a citizen of Ashtan?"
You say, "I don't see why they would deny it."
Iosyne, the Muse says, "I know they are not too pleased with their members following My path, as their general stance is to support Undeath."
You think for a moment before nodding slowly.
Iosyne, the Muse says, "And how do you feel about that stance?"
The sun begins her downward journey towards eventual sleep, casting even, full light upon the land.
You say, "The Guildmaster herself gave me the authorization to follow You, My Lady."
Iosyne smiles at you.
Iosyne, the Muse says, "That is good."
You say, "I personally am not afraid to admit that I respect all. I judge people on who they are, not what they are."
You say, "When I seeked admittance to Your congregation, I made sure no to hide that part of myself."
Iosyne, the Muse says, "As long as your own stance is not that of Neutrality. There is no such thing."
You say, "I simply believe in a balance of life."
Iosyne, the Muse says, "I would prefer if the Undead came to their senses and returned to life, only because they are holding themselves back from mental growth."
You ponder the situation.
Iosyne, the Muse says to you, "The balance of life is between life and death. Undeath has no part in that balance."
You say, "But some have amazing talents none the less."
Iosyne, the Muse says to you, "And still they would do much better if they were alive."
You say, "Perhaps, but no one can choose their paths.."
You laughingly say, "Personally, my time as an undead made me realize the beauty of life. Thats when I fell inlove with the Tundra."
Iosyne, the Muse says, "No one can choose? of course they can choose their paths."
You say, "What I meant is that for example, I cannot tell people that I know who are undead to turn from what they are."
You say, "We can't force them to make that choice."
You say, "Some may grow to find it better then life, while some may find that they are missing something by being undead."
Iosyne, the Muse says, "No, you can not change someone else, but you can give them the knowledge that allows them to make an educated choice."
The deepening dusk yields to impenetrable darkness as night claims the land.
You nod your head emphatically.
Iosyne, the Muse says, "I never force people to change, just like I never force people to remain on My path, but I make it very clear to those that walk My path, that neutrality is unacceptable. It is an apathetic stance, and as I am for creative thinking, which means constant development of the mind, apathy in that sense has no place here."
You ask, "By respecting both sides... am I seen as 'neutral'?"
Iosyne, the Muse says, "Respecting is one thing. I believe all should be respected, but supporting them and saying it is alright to be Undead is another."
Iosyne, the Muse says, "The moment a mortal chooses to embrace the Undead state of mind, their natural development stops and their body no longer reacts as a living would when put in different situations, situations that would alter how you think and react later on in life. They might still react, but not with the same emphasis, not with the same thought process."
You think for a moment before nodding slowly.
Iosyne, the Muse says, "This means that their minds are a bit more stagnant, and they can not reach their true potential. Even if they are good now, they could be great and they are wasting this opportunity for the sake of, for example, physical power."
You say, "I find myself often defending them for the simple reason that I was one once and that because of what I was, I lost most of my friends and family."
Iosyne, the Muse says, "Why not help them over to this side instead?"
Iosyne, the Muse says, "I have a meditation chamber set aside for all who seek a safe haven when going through that overwhelming change."
The stars wink into existence, familiar constellations illuminating the night
with tales of myth and legend.
You say, "The reason I don't try and push them to becoming mortal again is because I believe in freedom of thought. Freedom of choice. I believe that if an undead finds themselves unhappy in their state, they will speak up and seek help the way I did. And hopefully, if they come to me, then I'll be able to indicate them the methods I found on my own."
You blush furiously.
Iosyne, the Muse says, "They might not even know they are unhappy. You can educate them without pushing them, Atraya."
Iosyne, the Muse says, "I have to go tend to something now. If you want to know more about this, and figure out how you stand in comparison, speak to the others in the Congregation. I don't mind if you hold a long open debate."
Iosyne smiles at you.
You nod your head emphatically.
You say, "Thank you, My Lady."
Your mouth turns up as your face breaks into a smile.
Iosyne, the Muse says, "You are welcome."
Iosyne, the Muse says, "Be well."
You say, "You also."
Iosyne inclines Her head politely to you.
You perform a graceful curtsey towards Iosyne.
With an enchanting voice, the Muse recites the words of a long forgotten hymn, which slowly seems to erase Her entire form. Soon only the faintest whisper of Her voice remains before all fades away into silence.

oh, and before all this, Atraya was talking with Meianna about something that happened the night before (rp with Esylana and Magi stuff) and suddenly I wanted to know what color represented Lady Iosyne so, I ask on COT --
(Congregation): You say, "What color represents Lady Iosyne?"

The next thing I saw was a blue highlighted text indicating blue light followed by the appearance of Lady Iosyne. My only reply?
(Congregation): You say, "Wow, uh, thank you My Lady."

Her reply?
(Congregation): Iosyne says, "Heh."
