As to the hallways...well...they're like windows in the middle ages. If you have glass in them, and lots of them, it shows status. OR at leas,t I wish that was the case. In reality...it always annoyed me how people would build a kitchen, then a garden, then a bedroom then a fammily room and not have any seperation...a wee bit of privacy, for the bedrroms especially will be appreciated, I bet.
