Yeah, falcons are really practically useless in a fight.  Sure, they do a bit of damage, knock someone off-guard - but beyond that?  They're pitifully easy to get rid of and pitifully weak.

They are actually of good use as long as you don't have crappy curing for monkshood and/or fighting an illumination user.

At least you get falcon early on.

I had to wait for Fabled Groves to get my bees.

And you can use falcons to kill newbies across the continent!

Well, 'cept for Eftig.

But that brings to mind the fact that even when there's stupid novices and newbies running around, the paladins refuse to kill them or let others kill them.

I had a newbie attack my falcon and he died in one hit... poor critter..

paladins are ok... its those droods you have to watch out for... if you play in the forest with fire they think you are an aersonist and try to kill you... so watch out you illuminationist *panic* they're everywhere man!
