The New Enorian Beggar

Poted by Indiana on 24 Oct 2005 18:59 - The New Enorian Beggar
Kiyotan tells you, "Honors him, quick."

Homeless and Jobless, Asilient Windrayn.
He is 57 years old, having been born on the 1st of Khepary, year 113 of the Midnight Age.
...

<<Paladins>>: Asilient says, "I like it!"

<<Paladins>>: Kiyotan says, "Heh."

<<Paladins>>: You say, "We all do."

You stroke Asilient tenderly.

Gathering Hall.
A peacemaker of Enorian stands here, one hand on the pommel of his sword. A bright-eyed missionary serenely patrols the streets of Enorian. A vigilant monk stands here, alert and watchful for enemies of the city. There are 2 young rats here. A full-grown rat prowls near your feet. The New Enorian Beggar, Asilient  Windrayn is here. Lupin is here, shrouded. She wields an iron-tipped whip in her left hand and a tower shield in her right. You see exits leading north (closed pine door), up and down.

You say to Lupin, "Poor kid."

<<Paladins>>: Asilient says, "..."

<<Paladins>>: Kiyotan says, "HA."

<<Paladins>>: You say, "Ha! Better."

Lupin wraps her arms gently around one of Asilient's and rubs affectionately against it, smiling happily.

You say to Asilient, "Don't have any change though."

Asilient takes a key from a sailor's kitbag.

Asilient takes a key from a sailor's kitbag.

Asilient takes a key from a sailor's kitbag.

Asilient unlocks the north door.

Asilient opens the door to the north.

Sir Asilient leaves to the north.

The door to the north closes abruptly.

You hear the door to the north being locked.

<<Paladins>>: You say, "The Beggar left me alone!"

<<Paladins>>: You say, "Can't believe it, I was about to give him 2 million gold."

-- delivers me --

Gathering Hall.
A peacemaker of Enorian stands here, one hand on the pommel of his sword. A bright-eyed missionary serenely patrols the streets of Enorian. A vigilant monk stands here, alert and watchful for enemies of the city. A grizzled old rat  sits here, fearlessly. Sir Asilient Windrayn is here.
You see exits leading north (closed pine door), up and down.

Asilient thrusts his hand out to you and begs shamelessly.

You peer at Asilient unscrupulously.

Asilient snickers softly to himself.

Hehe, I always knew it!

You have two million gold? Bah...I'd beg too.
Poted by Arynn on 25 Oct 2005 01:17 -
Who wouldn't?

All of this was prompted from:

<<Paladins>>: Indiana says, "Asi just let someone who's not in the guild in the Secretariat." (I didn't know Lupin had pilged in with him.)

<<Paladins>>: Kiyotan says, "That's it. Asilient. Your fired."
Poted by Avian on 25 Oct 2005 03:45 -
Dude... Asilient, you let me into the Secretariat...

actually I don't think it would of been the first time that happened, but hey, what could I do
Poted by Asilient on 25 Oct 2005 06:25 -
Dude... Asilient, you let me into the Secretariat...

Erm... You tracked to me...

For some reason our Secretariat is an outdoors room...

Poted by Sarkis on 25 Oct 2005 15:00 -
Yeah, I noticed. It's weird. I've been there a dozen times.
Poted by Arota on 25 Oct 2005 16:57 -
The Secretariat is...heh.  The Secretariat.  The things that go on in that room...*snicker* It's so damn easy to get into.  And it has a nice desk that just the right height for...um...nevermind...they've probably removed the desk by now, anyways.
Poted by Avian on 25 Oct 2005 18:14 -
Asilient, you TOLD me to track in!

...

Of course, that was after I said I'd stampede in...

And Arota... just... no.
Poted by Arota on 26 Oct 2005 16:55 -
And Arota... just... no.

Blame Pugsly.
Poted by Yreogh on 26 Oct 2005 17:36 -
What's the Addams family got to do with this?
Poted by Arynn on 26 Oct 2005 22:20 -
Everything.
Poted by Sarkis on 27 Oct 2005 01:55 -
*roll*

...hmmm...I need more chicken.

*wanders off*
Poted by Yreogh on 27 Oct 2005 04:35 -
That's all Winslow ever serves
Poted by Jahara on 27 Oct 2005 13:31 -
...you already broke the table in house! Sheesh! The furniture of the world just isn't safe anymore.
Poted by Arota on 27 Oct 2005 16:48 -
Actually, Asilient and I were just sitting in the house laughing at that conversation...not table breakage occurred.  Besides, that is one damn sturdy table.

And Yreogh - I meant Pugsly, as in ex-Paladin-GM, also my ex-fiance from before I inadvertantly discovered the fountain of youth.
Poted by Arynn on 27 Oct 2005 17:26 -
what's that?
Poted by Arota on 27 Oct 2005 18:29 -
what's that?

what's what?
Poted by Arynn on 27 Oct 2005 19:11 -
fountain of youth.
Poted by Arota on 27 Oct 2005 19:42 -
Oh, that's the one with crappy side effects.  It's where you suicide and then come back years later with the same name, losing all your previous affiliations/gold/equipment/etc, and occasionally get yelled at by grumpy people for remembering things from before your time.
Poted by Arynn on 27 Oct 2005 19:55 -
Just tell them you're 18 and have studied a lot. ^_^
Poted by Arota on 27 Oct 2005 19:57 -
Well, er, when it's things like remembering when the paladins had a long discussion about whether or not the realm contained staples, started after Jervis stapled a 'I'm Stupid' (or some such thing) bandana to my forehead...it's rather impossible to claim to have just studied a lot.  *wry*
Poted by Arynn on 27 Oct 2005 20:06 -
You're mommy saw it happen.
Poted by Arota on 27 Oct 2005 20:15 -
I'm my own grandpaw?  *snicker*  I should stop quoting from songs and other...random places.

...

And before anybody starts ragging on me about being old because I know the song 'I'm my own grandpaw' by Guy Lombargo or whatever his last name is...I'm not THAT old, my dad just randomly plays his old records for me and my siblings from time to time.
Poted by Arynn on 27 Oct 2005 20:27 -
Hehe.
