Xarian, the Birdy.

Poted by Sarkis on 05 Dec 2005 01:01 - Xarian, the Birdy.
(Market): Xarian says, "Credit for sale. Cheep."

You tell Xarian, "Cheap?"

Xarian tells you, "Cheep."

Xarian tells you, "Cheep cheep."

You tell Xarian, "...like a birdy?"

Xarian tells you, "Cheep cheep?"
Poted by Avian on 05 Dec 2005 03:46 -
Xarian's weird.

He's also super good at fighting.
Poted by Sarkis on 05 Dec 2005 16:34 -
Strangely enough, I despise him, but he and I get along fairly well.

Well, for several reasons. He's helped me a fe w times, especially when he was a novice.

He was a wierd novice, too... used to hiccup a lot when shrouded. I thought it was cute as hell.
Poted by Arota on 05 Dec 2005 18:22 -
The only thing I know of Xarian is that I keep accidentally seeing him everytime Xaras walks by, and it freaks me out...
Poted by Avian on 05 Dec 2005 18:40 -
He's on deathsight a lot
Poted by Yreogh on 05 Dec 2005 20:30 -
I hate wars.  Deathsight is so spammy.

I hate watching friends and family die.
Poted by Arota on 05 Dec 2005 20:41 -
I leave deathsight off during wars.  And go hang in my neutral alt.  Which doesn't exist anymore, sadly.  I think my alt is going to have to switch cities...how friendly is Spines these days?
Poted by Jahara on 05 Dec 2005 20:41 -
Ditto, Yreogh
Poted by Avian on 06 Dec 2005 00:11 -
My alt was SUPPOSED to be a vampire bashing machine, but ended up leaving thralldom, and becoming a Daru.

Stupid House Lunare. Stupid Gracie. Fack fack fack.

I just need an IC reason to incinerate her furry undead ass.
Poted by Arynn on 06 Dec 2005 03:53 -
Spinesreach? What's that? Oh! A city you say? Maybe if they weren't so...unproductive I'd remember em...meh. Xarian's fairly cool, sometimes.
Poted by Arota on 06 Dec 2005 03:58 -
Yeah...Spines is very quiet, but I like it better than Ashtan simply because I can find my way around it.  Granted, I have the southern two islands of Ashtan mapped, so I at least know when the bank and other important city crap like that is, but I'm still missing the market.

And when I was wandering around Kelsys I noticed that it's basically set up as a city, only for NPCs.  I'm wondering if the admin are going to make it into a player city eventually...because that would be really awesome.  My alt would totally join.
Poted by Arynn on 06 Dec 2005 05:37 -
Heh, go Magi, we pretty much foiled the plans of Kelsys because I think the Admin put to much trust in us accepting the Naldareth gig that when we didn't, they kinda got screwed. Heh, sucks to be them, they shoulda got someone other than Slyphe, it'd probably have worked out better. ^_^
Poted by Jahara on 06 Dec 2005 16:06 -
I get lost in Spines...and not just that regular lost where if you roam around for a little while you'll eventually find your way out..NO! I get uberlost, so that I can wander in circles for hours and not realize i've already been in that same room 80 times. I can't even get back to Tsaur'ke from Spines...the city is evil!
Poted by Arota on 06 Dec 2005 17:34 -
...take a map, silly Jahara.  The basilica itself is pretty much symmetrical and unable to get lost in.
Poted by Jeloseth on 06 Dec 2005 18:15 - ...
I FUDGING HATE XARIAN! I can't get a moments peace without him kicking my ass
Poted by Indiana on 06 Dec 2005 18:43 -
Actually, that's quite the story of the entire Enorian militia .. I don't know why but right now I don't give a damn about this war anymore, it pissed me off far too much already. All I want right now is for it to end so me and Lupin can get married ...
Poted by Jeloseth on 06 Dec 2005 18:45 -
funny thing is, Indiana, this was before the war. And it has me pissed to. DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO GAIN 27 LEVELS AS A FREAKING TROLL?
Poted by Indiana on 06 Dec 2005 18:46 -
Jeloseth, you do realise that I am a 81 level troll which needs to bash like an hour to get 1%, right?
Poted by Jeloseth on 06 Dec 2005 18:47 -
now that you mention it, I do remember you are a troll now... wow, sucks to be you
Poted by Sarkis on 06 Dec 2005 18:49 -
Kelsys will be a player City, I understand. So much for Magi intellgence
(see post about guilds in a nutshell)

Meh.

This war is terrible, because it basicly amounts to Enorian shwoing hwo terrible it is at public relations, because a good number of the higher ups were too proud to do some minor pandering to at least muddle the issue, instead of making it look like Bloodloch was fighting for the sake of all Sapience.

*grumble* *grumble*
Poted by Arota on 06 Dec 2005 18:49 -
And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why Atavians rock.
Poted by Jeloseth on 06 Dec 2005 18:51 -
meh, they got wings... all they are are humans who can fly whooo! Trolls are majorly underbalanced, one more strength point then Xorans but 8 intellgiance and blah blah... trolls suck. I'm going to get 200 credits and reincarnate to... Xoran, yea xoran
Poted by Avian on 06 Dec 2005 18:53 -
I shoulda been a Raja. The extra strength doesn't help my maul at all.

Although I can bash for a lot longer as a Xoran...
Poted by Arota on 06 Dec 2005 18:54 -
Being able to fly way outweighs any of the advantages of the other races.  The rivers are my highways!  And it's damn easy to get into Enorian the back way when you can use the Pachanacha as a road.  Avoids all that nasty fighting.
Poted by Sarkis on 06 Dec 2005 18:54 -
Trolls make weird monks. They hurt. A lot. And with high kaido, they become bloody tanks. Slow...plodding...tanks. The only problem is the low mana, but with the troll regeneration, it does help some.
Poted by Jeloseth on 06 Dec 2005 18:57 -
meh, I might become paladin, to all your displeasures. Lumies getting on my nerves a bit recently. Very few of them fight in the war, and they claim to be a guild of warriors. As for monks... I hate practicing Tekura, might try Daru, who knows.

But Arota, rivers are my highways as well. I have fluid swim, and parting
Poted by Arota on 06 Dec 2005 19:01 -
oooooo....I want fluidswim.  *steals it from Jelo*

Mwahahahaha!  I have Jeloseth's fluidswim! *swims off into the sunset*
Poted by Avian on 06 Dec 2005 19:01 -
FluidSwim and gills FTW!

On a more serious note, the only good Sentaari are Xorans. Trolls suck. Sentaari already have mana problems, they don't need low mana to compound that.

Trolls make good ummm...

...ummm...

...ummm I'll get back to you on that...
Poted by Jeloseth on 06 Dec 2005 19:03 -
we are slow, but we would make decent paladins/infernals. The damage we could deal... my mace does about 1500 when I have inspiration up... it does about 750 to Adia's artie leather armour when he was a tank vampire
Poted by Indiana on 06 Dec 2005 19:04 -
I wonder if after this war admins will realise Paladins suck. Trolls suck. And when you combine them .. you got the point. My guess is .. they will not though sadly enough.
Poted by Avian on 06 Dec 2005 19:05 -
Paladins don't suck. Trolls suck.

They can be decent forestals, I suppose. Daru too. Lumi. Eh. Not so much, but it's feasible.
Poted by Indiana on 06 Dec 2005 19:06 -
Yes, trolls might be good as luminaries, but since damage is usually based on max health having high health doesn't make you better at PvP, but only take much more damage. The only real advantage of having high health is for bashing ...

Oh yeah, did I mention I do 600 damage per dsl to Kaestrin with 17 strength? With 5 seconds balance. And he does 1.5k damage to me. Per combo. And he has a 2.5 seconds delay between combos.

Yeah, trolls are good at PvP indeed.
Poted by Jeloseth on 06 Dec 2005 19:06 -
meh, the trolls big problem is their balance. If they would fix that, trolls would own as lumies
Poted by Indiana on 06 Dec 2005 19:07 -
Ok, Avi, let me rephrase, Paladins suck if you are any other race than raja (with hell of a fast rapiers).
Poted by Jeloseth on 06 Dec 2005 19:09 -
ummm.... arota, lemme have my fluid swim back. I kinda quit in an ocean or something...
Poted by Arota on 06 Dec 2005 19:10 -
And yet oddly, I know of maybe one or two raja paladins.  Most of us seem to have realized that one way or another, we suck, so we'll just be whatever the hell race we want and make do as best we can.

And no, Jelo, my fluidswim! *grabs*  ...Though I don't really have a use for it, since I explored Kelsys yesterday...so...*hands Jelo back his fluidswim* There ya go.
Poted by Indiana on 06 Dec 2005 19:12 -
To be honest, right now I don't care about the fact that Paladin trolls suck at fighting although we're supposed to be a guild of fighters. I don't care about many things nowadays simply because too many things disappointed me, especially the administration in Aetolia.

Frankly, family is one of the few things I still care about ..
Poted by Jeloseth on 06 Dec 2005 19:12 -
yay I can swim without drowning go me and stuff... even though I coulda parted my way across an entire ocean... and I officially hate Belakai. He forced me into the milita with his curse... do you know how hard it is to fight when you don't have your best abilities? I was killed about 4 times today where absolve would have come in handy, and another time where piety would have allowed me to finish the little wh0re off
Poted by Arota on 06 Dec 2005 19:17 -
Y'know, it's really funny, I'm seeing in my friends/family/guildmates/citymates these days the same sort of attitude and approach to the realm that caused me to suicide about 80 in game years ago.

...

Please, nobody suicide.  Just join the 'jaded and lovin' it' club and we can all eat pie together...
Poted by Jeloseth on 06 Dec 2005 19:20 -
LEMME IN! I WANT PIIIE! Just make is sugar free?
Poted by Indiana on 06 Dec 2005 19:21 -
You know what's the funny part, Arota? I had that kind of feeling in the second day of war .. then realised why I had such a great idea not to join the militia. And then realised I have 5 exams I have to focus on ...

I wouldn't suicide myself, in the worst case I'd just go inactive .. really suiciding is ... awful.
Poted by Arota on 06 Dec 2005 19:23 -
Yeah. Suiciding is aweful.  But I never even made a move towards Aetolia for anothet two or three RL years...had my client deleted and everything.

...

Then I got bored and decided to see who remembered me.  And then I got hooked.
Poted by Avian on 06 Dec 2005 19:23 -
You do take more net damage, but you also heal for more and the actual damage is a smaller percent of your full health.

By the way, Avian can suicide. Hardcore.
Poted by Arota on 06 Dec 2005 19:47 -
...*buys Avian 15 credits*  Hah.  Now you can't.
Poted by Jeloseth on 06 Dec 2005 19:53 -
Jeloseth can suicide... won't do it, but he can
Poted by Sarkis on 06 Dec 2005 20:17 -
Who wants to make a "We can make a differnce" Organization I'm trying to build up! Devoted to doing good or others? join right up! Tired of the corruption and lies you see? join right up! Want to teach people, and defy social convention and order? Join right up!
Poted by Avian on 07 Dec 2005 00:19 -
...*buys Avian 15 credits*  Hah.  Now you can't.

Go ahead, I'll even give you your credits back.
Poted by Arynn on 07 Dec 2005 03:01 -
Heh, I can suicide...and am actually thinking of it.
Poted by Sarkis on 07 Dec 2005 03:17 -
Gah!
Poted by Arota on 07 Dec 2005 03:43 -
...Sorry Avi, Arynn gets priority, it seems.

Now if only I had the money to actually do that.  But those $130 knives sorta screwed my December budget. *cries at her crappy work schedual*

And Sarkis, if you advertise the group that way again, I'm SOOOOO pulling out.  Corny, I do not do.
Poted by Arynn on 07 Dec 2005 04:18 -
Heh, don't spend credits on me, I'll just message Varian or Belakai and tell them they were bought for me without my consent and wish to suicide.
Poted by Avian on 07 Dec 2005 05:12 -
Dunno, being able to suicide is nice.
Poted by Arota on 07 Dec 2005 17:21 -
Actually, I sort of like not being able to suicide.  It's like...Tada!  I'm stuck with these idiots one way or another!  Makes you try just a bit harder to get along.

And...truth be told, all my characters have credits bought on them.  So none of them can suicide.  But I like them all for various reasons and would never suicide them.

Seriously need to switch my neutral alts citizenship to Ashtan or Spines, though...
Poted by Indiana on 07 Dec 2005 17:23 -
To be honest right now the only reason why I'd buy ooc credits would be to prevent my character from being deleted .. although that shouldn't happen ..
Poted by Arota on 07 Dec 2005 17:26 -
Yeah, actually, that's mostly the reason all my characters have credits bought on them...my alts tend to go on ten-year torpors frequently, and occasionally I even get pulled away from my main character, so I wanted to ensure they'll be there when I get back.
Poted by Avian on 07 Dec 2005 19:37 -
Haha, that would suck if Avian got deleted.

I put so much time into him...
Poted by Jeloseth on 07 Dec 2005 21:00 -
I would laugh so hard... mostly cos avian is an ass...
Poted by Arynn on 07 Dec 2005 22:00 -
They won't delete your character, regardless if you've bought credits or not, if you're over 50, played at least 500 hours, ever held a position in a city/guild, or they just like you. No, I don't know if that's how it actually works, but I bet it is.
Poted by Avian on 08 Dec 2005 00:11 -
Avian is not an ass. He's arrogant, short-tempered, reckless and tactless, but he is NOT an ass.

At least.

Not to those close to him.

Everyone else he is rather assy to.
Poted by Sarkis on 08 Dec 2005 02:07 -
We shall not talk about Avian's "assy" nature.
Poted by Arynn on 08 Dec 2005 02:36 -
Nor his gassy nature...
Poted by Yreogh on 08 Dec 2005 02:52 -
Can we just ignore him?
Poted by Arynn on 08 Dec 2005 05:23 -
Seconded.
