works?"

(Sentaari): Rlift says, "Sotere knows... that's all I know..."

(Sentaari): Kora says, "..."

(Sentaari): Rlift says, "And Calin might.. he likes those kinda things.."

(Sentaari): Calin says, "What do you need to know about it?"

...I swear, Sentaari have strange conversations...

Makes me wish I had quoted the one a while ago about the effects of petting kittens.
Poted by Arynn on 08 Dec 2005 02:38 -
*snicker* They really need a better name for that.
Poted by Arynn on 08 Dec 2005 02:40 -
idea A new item that works like the vibrating stick arty, and eliminate the vibrating stick arty, it leads to to many sexual innuendos.

Thank you, your idea has been recorded.
Poted by Jahara on 08 Dec 2005 03:06 -
....Whee! Calin is neat.

...vibrating sticks....oi.
Poted by Arota on 08 Dec 2005 03:33 -
Calin is awesome.  He took me bashing once...I was like...*follows along while she gapes like a newbie at all the criticals*
Poted by Indiana on 08 Dec 2005 06:57 -
Psh, I do that as well with everyone that follows me .. although I still drool whenever I see high level monk combos.
Poted by Avian on 08 Dec 2005 08:14 -
I think the stars might affect crits... some days I dish out staggerings and crushings like crazy, others I'm hard pressed for a normal crit.
Poted by Arota on 08 Dec 2005 18:58 -
Quite possible - I've noticed the same.  Only the difference is mostly between rats and actual bashing, so I tend to assume you just get more criticals on weaker creatures.
Poted by Avian on 08 Dec 2005 19:08 -
You still rat? Loser.

The only time I rat is when I'm bored but don't have the energy to go bashing, so I act like I'm doing something important.

Speaking of bashing, Parhelion's catching up.
Poted by Arota on 08 Dec 2005 19:24 -
I rat because...it's easy.  I'll wander through the sewers while doing other stuff, and then turn in my rats and go 'whee!  8000 gold!'.  Then I'll go buy comms/herbs and be poor again.
Poted by Sarkis on 08 Dec 2005 19:25 -
*snicker*
Poted by Arota on 08 Dec 2005 20:18 -
Oh, snicker all you want, you don't have a cache with maxed out amounts of ink and almost 50k worth of steel.
Poted by Avian on 09 Dec 2005 07:27 -
Wow. I only get 10% and 4k per bashing round here.

And ratting is so much more fun than bashing. What was I thinking?

Oh, did I mention the quests that get me 1.5k in a few minutes?

Poted by Indiana on 09 Dec 2005 07:47 -
Did I mention I make 10k in like 10 minutes? And spend them on comms in like 2 seconds?

So stop complaining and be happy you are not envolved in the war .. I think I donated like over 500k worth of comms, vials and stuff .. although I DO intend to get them back in time when things calm down.
Poted by Arota on 09 Dec 2005 16:10 -
I have never been involved with the war, and never will be - or with any future war.  Not only because of the comm and gold drain, but because I believe it is a futile thing as a whole.  Cuchulainn and Enorian as a whole has outright stated that we will not change for two years under Bloodloch's rule.  Bloodloch did exactly the same when Enorian ruled.  Do you see any point to war, then, besides fluffing up city leaders egos?! *mutter*
Poted by Indiana on 09 Dec 2005 16:48 -
No, I don't actually, nor do I like the idea of war .. we didn't start this war though, remember? And me, being a minister it's quite hard not to get envolved on the economical part at least.
Poted by Broly on 09 Dec 2005 17:00 -
The point of the war is a system that allows two opposing sides to fight eachother without repercussions because of the PK laws. For many, Aetolia would be extremely boring if you remove the fighting part. Really, Enorian and Bloodloch should be fighting all the time, considering they are on opposing sides...

And ratting sucks...Quests make the same money in like...1/10 of the time?

You die in wars. And lose exp. Exp loss is bad.
Poted by Arynn on 10 Dec 2005 00:47 -
You lose exp when you die!? ZOMG!!!!!!!! OVERPOWERED! NERF! NERFFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!11
Poted by Yreogh on 10 Dec 2005 01:52 -
Wow.  Arynn, do me a favor and leave the stupid to Avian?  Since he's so good at it and all.
Poted by Arynn on 10 Dec 2005 04:43 -
Deal.
Poted by Yreogh on 10 Dec 2005 05:32 -
Much obliged

well, if you manage to kill enough of the opponents, you end up with more xp than when you started. I bet Xarian and a few others got some levels during this war. So it's cool.
Poted by Indiana on 10 Dec 2005 12:23 -
Well, you DO get more experience from killing than you lose from eventual deaths as long as you have an escape skill and can take lots of damage ( to be read as "if you are a vampire or cabalist" ).
Poted by Arynn on 11 Dec 2005 05:05 -
Or can get delivered or have pilgrimage or can go to Nirvana...
Poted by Indiana on 11 Dec 2005 06:16 -
The recent events in this war made it clear for everyone none of those is an effective way to escape a group of arti whores.
Poted by Arynn on 11 Dec 2005 08:49 -
I can see how Nirvana wouldn't be to effective...but there's still Pilg and Deliver
Poted by Sarkis on 11 Dec 2005 08:51 -
Hear hear, Indi!

Arynn, considering how often large hunting parties took down so many people with those supposed "Running" skills, as opposed to your stance on them being effective to flee...well...makes one wonder, really...well, on the effectiveness you seem to place on them.

I sugget, though, leaving most discussion of the war off these forums, at least, since it has no bearing on quotes. Stay on topic!

...unless it has to do with Avian, thne you can like...call him man-hands, and then tickle an owl.
Poted by Jeloseth on 13 Dec 2005 19:39 -
it takes about 15 seconds to get to nirvana. Do you know how hard it is to survive that lone iwth like 4 people attacking you at once?
Poted by Avian on 13 Dec 2005 19:42 -
CT DEL
Poted by Jeloseth on 13 Dec 2005 19:44 -
when you are below angelic?
Poted by Sarkis on 13 Dec 2005 19:46 -
See, that's not sure fire, either.

Here's a few reasons why:

-Lots Vampires, Necros, etc bash Azdun, and have high alignment, which means killing one lowers your own.

-Dels are people based, which means you have to rely on another person's reaction time to be saved.

-In a war, where you're deling cosntantly, running out of devotion can happen, not to mention other things a person has to use it for.

Now...let's leave this subject alone, hm?
Poted by Jeloseth on 13 Dec 2005 19:50 -
nicely said Sarkis
Poted by Avian on 14 Dec 2005 00:13 -
Rite of Dawn FTW.
Poted by Sarkis on 14 Dec 2005 00:39 -
Avian, any rite of dawn would have been stormed. And I have no idea what FTW means.
Poted by Arota on 14 Dec 2005 00:46 -
Rites of Dawn are no longer feasable because people talk too f---ing much when in large groups, and they are often interrupted entirely by vampires or members of 'dark' guilds who are protesting being excluded from a Rite which is actually a privelege and not a right, as the name implies.

...

*mutter*
Poted by Sarkis on 14 Dec 2005 03:41 -
*pet Arota* It's ok, Avian doesn't know better.
Poted by Indiana on 14 Dec 2005 06:15 -
Oh yeah, and folks, vampires are neutral whatever they kill, so, no, you'll never deliver one.
