Not bad, except a lot of knights use ph to perform hands, soo...

You'll find it's better to use gh, grl, gll, gra, gla, instead.

As a further thought, if you're going to move parry it's best to do it trying to predic your opponents attacking. I normally work on logic for this, so..

Blah blah blah, lookit me, I have a cheap freaking overpowered healing move that recovers 2k a use and can use it over and over to make me near invincible.

Devos. Bleh.

*waits to trans Weaponry*

And don't argue with me on the 2k. Arya healed me for 1k while I was at Neutral.

Damn Devos. Nerf.

Oh, and. I hate monks. I CAN'T GET MY TEKURA BALANCE TRACKER TO WORK!! WHY?! WHY WON'T YOU WORK?!

Umm, no, hands gives 1k for me not 2k, too bad it can't be used while off balance or off eq -shrug- hey, look at cabalists, they can drink health/mana AND eat moss for about 2k health WHILE off balance and attacking + ents hitting THAT's overpowered. And hands IS affected by alignment.

Hands is alignment and health based.

And what are you complaining about? You have vitality.
Poted by Yreogh on 28 Jan 2006 21:02 -
One used, have to have full health ana mana to bring it up.  It can't be brought up immediately after you lose it, either.  PLus you lose eq when you bring it up.
Poted by Avian on 28 Jan 2006 21:17 -
Vitality sucks. If you can damage me enough to set it off, you can damage me enough to kill me.
Poted by Yreogh on 28 Jan 2006 21:22 -
Pretty much, yeah.  When you have about 2.5k health, it's enough of a boost to get you back to full if you can sip when it happens.  After that, well, it's nice.  When you're bashing, it's helpful.

Hands uses equilibrium every time you use it. I'm not saying it's not a good skill, but I'd be just as happy with a skill that brings me back to full health and have a fresh start. Instead I have to hands twice to get my health back to full. (At Seraphic and with one health+mana.)

And Avian, why don't you use your grove in the Arena? I sparred Brunneng in his grove a few days ago and it was killer to my offensive. Then again, I still won.

Poted by Yreogh on 29 Jan 2006 03:20 -
Vitality doesn't, see.  You get maybe eight hundred or so off of it.

Vitality is great. First of all, when bashing, it can save your life (many times when i got disconnected, the boost from vitality prevented me from dying). And when fighting , it almost doubles the time it takes for the opponent to damage you to death (although i'm not sure if the amount you get is based on your max health,it gives me around 1600, which means around 40%). Since it's passive, you don't have to worry about it, so it gives you time to stop the opponent's offense, catch up on the healing or kill him. To use hands, you have to stop your offense, and also, i think paralysis and broken arms stop it. If they have to use hands to stay alive, they are almost dead against any good fighter. It's a good support skill though.

I  definitely prefer vitality.

I you have one broken arm you can't use hands.

And I agree, I'd prefer vitality just for the fact that it is passive and it buys me time, instead of having to shield/hands. I only use hands if my sipping and eating moss isn't keeping me near full, it can trick some forestals into incinerating early.
Poted by Indiana on 29 Jan 2006 17:32 -
I wouldn't trade hands for vitality myself, but then again, I do like vitality as well.

I'd trade hands in a combat situation no doubts there. But hands is great for bashing.

a) Groves are not fun.

b) I can't use them.

Hands still bugs me. Seriously. It's like grove vigour. And you'll have a helluva hard time beating me while I use that.
