Auto-basher

Poted by Avian on 29 Mar 2006 19:10 - Auto-basher
So not my problem if this ends up getting you killed.

A: bash
A: maul $1
   #set t $1
   #set alive 1

T: {<}You have slain
A: #set alive 0
   #beep

T: {<}You have recovered balance on all limbs.{>}
A: #if $alive = 0{
         g $t
   }
   #if $alive = 1{
        maul $t
   }

T: {<}H:{d}
A: #if $1 < 2000 and $varSip = 1{
        sip health
   }
   #if $1 < 1000{
        #beep
   }

T: {<}The elixir heals and soothes you.{>}
A: #set varSip 0

T: {<}You may drink another health or mana elixir.{>}
A: #set varSip 1

Basically, you go BASH GOBLIN and it'll maul the goblin until it dies, sipping whenever you drop below 2000 health. If you're below 1000 health, it beeps at you.

It picks up the corpse when you're done, and beeps whenever you kill something.

If you need to incorporate moss or mana sipping or something, just tell me.

Oh, and if you don't maul... replace maul with something else.

It also doesn't allow for afflictions... so...

Or shrubbed.  Is this legal?

help triggers
15.10 TRIGGERS AND AUTOMATION

Currently in Aetolia, triggers and automation are allowed, provided they are
not designed to a) generate gold, b) generate experience via bashing or doing
quests. Using triggers or automation to do either of those things is strictly
prohibited.

So, no.

Right, disclaimer: THIS FAMILY/WEBSITE IS NOT RESPONSABLE FOR THE USE OF ANY SCRIPTS POSTED, they are for educational purpose only.

Really now, guys, don't use auto-bashers ..
Poted by Avian on 30 Mar 2006 19:01 -
I heard it's legal as long as it requires you to watch.

So this'll only kill one thing for you, it won't like... run through Azdun and kill everything in it.

Besides, everyone and their dog uses auto-bashers.

(Boring Tedium): You say, "Trent, your idea of intense bashing is turning on the auto-basher and getting a burger at McDonald's."

Actually, I don't. But I bash things that could tear me into itty bitty little pieces.

I don't use an auto basher.  And Everyone is a singular pronoun.  *eye*

I don't use autobashers. ...I don't even bash much...
Poted by Arota on 22 Apr 2006 19:19 -
The only thing I use triggers for while bashing is afflictions and attacking once I've regained balance.  Even then, I keep a veeeeeery close eye on it.  Most of the reason I have the trigger for attacking is that I get tired of hitting enter repeatedly every few seconds, anyways.
Poted by Sarkis on 23 Apr 2006 19:26 -
Eh, I've hotkeyed my combos to the F-keys. That way, I can easily, easily switch from combo to combo in combat, or, as it turns out, bashing, when I'm bored. Really bored.

I may also change my bashing combo, it seems WWK now does more bashing damage.
Poted by Arota on 25 Apr 2006 01:16 -
Hmm, there's an idea I hadn't thought of...putting all my attacks into F-key hotkeys.  Which would probably work for me, since I'm horrible at remembering aliases or such things.  Yes indeed, must ponder this...

Aliases > macros.

Macros are faster so it depends on the point of view.
Poted by Sarkis on 25 Apr 2006 19:26 -
macros for certain skills and abilities make a lot of sense, like for bashing. I refuse to use anything that resembles an autobasher. It just takes the fun of it from me.
Poted by Yreogh on 26 Apr 2006 14:59 -
I think I'm going to make a macro for filling my buckets for fire-fighting.  FILL EMPTY WITH WATER 33 times is a lot.  And I can't get the friggin "YOU FILL A BUCKET" trigger to work.  Stupid mush.
Poted by Indiana on 26 Apr 2006 16:17 -
umm .. just do an alias to

fill bucket with water
put bucket in pack

like .. 30 times then

get 30 bucket from pack

Should work just fine ..
Poted by Arota on 26 Apr 2006 16:31 -
Heh.  I should use that.  Once I get some buckets and can consistently remember that I have Dousing now.  I let Adon put out all of upper Scidve by himself yesterday because I forgot I had Dousing.  And I had no buckets, but whatever.

And!  I finally got around to making a simple bashing system for ZMud!  So I can now actually bash semi-reliably.  It automatically stops and picks up corpses...tis nifty.  And much better than my old system.  Also counting kills now, too.  And holy crap, I just reach level 77 and got 100 bound credits. O.o

If you still have my system, you should have an alias in it which looks like:rep * *.  You just have to use: rep 33 fill empty with water and it will send fill empty with water 33 times
Poted by Yreogh on 26 Apr 2006 20:11 -
I still have your system, so sweet!

And Indi, it's the principle of the matter.  I've set a trigger, and it won't work.  Which is kinda scary.
Poted by Arota on 27 Apr 2006 16:22 -
Ooooh, it's one of THOSE instances.  Gods I hate it when that happens...you think you've got something figured out, but it just won't work, and so you become obsessed with MAKING it work...Heh.  Um.  Good luck?  And make sure the trigger's actually enabled? *duck*
