Davram and Lord Galleus

Poted by Hatake on 16 Apr 2006 04:35 - Davram and Lord Galleus
You feel irresistibly compelled to "Galleus Haern rocks."
You tell Galleus, the Sky Sovereign, "Haern rocks."

You growl menacingly.

Master Davram Lionheart says, "Lol."

Master Davram Lionheart says, "Sorry."

The Divine voice of Galleus, the Sky Sovereign echoes in your head, "...?"

You tell Galleus, the Sky Sovereign, "Davram forced me to say that. He might be my Lord but I would never tell you such a thing."

Master Davram Lionheart punches you playfully in the arm.

Master Davram Lionheart says, "Just messing with you mate."

You hear a pop and there is Galleus.

Galleus points accusingly at Davram.

With a flourish of your arm, you bow deeply.

Master Davram Lionheart says, "Hello Lord of the Skys."

Master Davram Lionheart says, "Just messing with a childhood friend."

The corners of your mouth turn up as you grin mischievously.

You say, "You shouldn't make me say such a thing."

Galleus, the Sky Sovereign says, "Do not involve the Divine in your pranks, child."

You say, "If Lord Haern heard that I would get scolded."

You shrug helplessly.

Master Davram Lionheart says to you, "I have known you over 40 years man."

Master Davram Lionheart says to Galleus, "I am sorry."

Galleus, the Sky Sovereign says, "I have taken your tongue for a time in
recompense."

You utter a deep, rumbling laugh.

You hear a pop and no longer is Galleus here.

Heh, at least you didn't get the fireworks show
Poted by Hatake on 16 Apr 2006 09:04 -
For once in I don't know how many years I see Davram and then the idiot goes and does something like this You should have seen his face
Poted by Davram on 16 Apr 2006 12:41 -
So, I had a little fun, it makes me a idiot now Atleast I have guts
Poted by Yreogh on 16 Apr 2006 15:19 -
If I were a Goddess, my entrance and exit wouldn't be a blighted pop, that's for sure.
Poted by Jahara on 16 Apr 2006 16:53 -
No kidding...what the hell kinda enterance and exit is "pop". I mean, the least he could do is change it to a "poof".
Poted by Sarkis on 16 Apr 2006 17:07 -
People, we're talking about -Galleus-. Remember that. he can "pop" all he likes...just shows a lack of imagination. *sagenod*
Poted by Hatake on 16 Apr 2006 18:25 -
Hehehehe

Good one Sark.

-hopes the Divine don't read these boards-
Poted by Arynn on 17 Apr 2006 22:08 -
Lack of creativity from Lord Galleus? Tell that to my super nifty bracers he made me...and the amazing dress I once had from him.
Poted by Hatake on 18 Apr 2006 00:42 -
I'm not even going to ask what you had to do to get those
Poted by Sarkis on 18 Apr 2006 01:21 -
Arynn, I will do that. I don't like Galleus. I think he's a sophist and amoral, and I can't stand that sort of teaching. It strikes me as exceedingly mindless and unimaginative That said...I still respect the fact he can zap people with little to no reason.
Poted by Arota on 18 Apr 2006 15:59 -
I respect the gods who zap for real reason more than those that can and will zap for little to none.

...

Like that time Arion zapped the newbie who was cursing him out, asking him what made him think he was such a big shot.  Only more rudely.  Half of Enorian tried to warn the kid off, but, well...he told off those of us that did.
Poted by Jahara on 21 Apr 2006 02:31 -
Some newbies are just born to be fodder I guess. Y'know...the ones that think they can master Aetolia in less than a day if they try to convince everyone else how awesome they are.
Poted by Sarkis on 21 Apr 2006 02:49 -
I like to snap those ones in half with the power of my mind.
Poted by Arota on 21 Apr 2006 15:57 -
I like to call in all the knights in my guild and as many family members and friends as I can.  And then just STARE at the damn newbie. *snicker*

Honestly, it's terribly amusing to have half a dozen level 50+ knights bearing down on a newbie who was stupid enough to harrass a Paladin.  Great fun.  It's why I love the guild's policy of not letting novices get into fights.
Poted by Jahara on 24 Apr 2006 22:00 -
I think that's almost every guild's rule. Should make it more cut and dry though, so they understand, y'know..something like: "Do not take on other people outside the arena, stoopid. They will get their homies to keel joo."

*cough*
Poted by Arota on 25 Apr 2006 01:20 -
Hah, yes, I would love to see that in the guild laws.  I used to get so sick and tired of novices going 'can I attack this guy?'.  Course, now I'm not a novice aide...so I don't get asked anything anymore.  Wheeee!  I think my novice helping days are over.
Poted by Jahara on 25 Apr 2006 16:33 -
Hah, that's what you think. They're all still in a state of "omifriggin'godArota'sback" shock to ask questions. Soon though...yes...very soon.
Poted by Sarkis on 25 Apr 2006 17:39 -
*snicker* *makes Pally alt* *asks lots of questions*
Poted by Indiana on 25 Apr 2006 17:45 -
*snicker* *makes Pally alt* *asks lots of questions*

.. not .. another .. pally .. alt ..
Poted by Yreogh on 25 Apr 2006 18:02 -
I have a Pally alt!  But, my mentor, like, friggin quit the guild.  And now I'm all kinda confused.
Poted by Jahara on 25 Apr 2006 19:03 -
Psht. Pally=boring...like..Sentaari boring.
Poted by Indiana on 25 Apr 2006 19:10 -
.. I guess that's why everyone has a pally alt -shrug-
Poted by Sarkis on 25 Apr 2006 19:25 -
Eh...Sentaari aren't boring! Especially now that I'm a secretary. We're the Funtaari, now! *eyeshift*
Poted by Hatake on 26 Apr 2006 09:35 -
Told you he would screw up the guild
Poted by Yreogh on 26 Apr 2006 14:59 -
.. I guess that's why everyone has a pally alt -shrug-

that, and I don't see the Paladins as a hot-bed of anything.  It seems like a stable enough guild, unlike my very own Sentinels guild.

Poted by Arota on 26 Apr 2006 16:39 -
Yes, the Paladins are ridiculously stable.  I mean, we may have members quitting all over the place...but we've had the same GM for the past 45 years.  *shake* One would think the two are connecting, but strangely, they're not.

And I'm still sure that the world ended while I was away, hence why Sarkis is now a secretary.
Poted by Sarkis on 26 Apr 2006 18:22 -
Bah, No, it ends when I become GM and title myself "Grandmasnter of Awesome and Cool"

Then I'd go on to make the Sentaari the biggest oddballs in the realms and chase people around offering informational pamphlets on enlightenment and a free backrub.

...that's when the master plan would begin.

...but that's not happened, yet.

...yet.
Poted by Jahara on 26 Apr 2006 19:12 -
*hand paper to namegoes here*
...and here's your free backrub! *proceeds to bbt namegoeshere.*
Poted by Sarkis on 26 Apr 2006 23:07 -
*eyeshift*

That's one possiblity.

I'd get my loyal monk-slaves to do this, though:

<monk-slave> Heya! Mind if I talk to you for a moment?

<vicitm> Err...sure, but I have a meeting in a few mom-

<monk-slave> Oh, this'll only be a moment, I promise!

<victim> *confused* Well..alright then...

<monk-slave> *indicates for victim to sit* Have you ever felt..well..stupid? Like what you were doing lacked deeper meaning? We all have! I was a Syssin onc,e and I had to ask myself every day why I got up in the morming to stab people in the neck and poision their favorite beverage. It was tedious and boring and overall, now that I think about it, sorta mean!

<Victim> *gives a cautious. "not sure about this" look but allows monk-slave to continue*

<monk-slave> That's when I met The High Mighty Grandmaster of Awesome and Cool, my overlord and ruler, Sarkis! he gave me a new path and direction in life, and look at me now!

<victim> ...err..you're speaking to a perosn you don't know, handing out pamphlets?

<monk-slave> well..that and one other thing...

<victim< Wazzat?

<monk-slave> Funtaari backrubs!

<victim> *blinks* What's a Funtaari bac-

<monk-slave> *BBTS the poor bugger* I hope you will get the path of Enlightenment! *drops 3 pamphelets on his victim, goes off wandering*

...I have a vivid imagination, shush.
Poted by Yreogh on 27 Apr 2006 05:44 -
Hmm... sounds like a good start for a cult.
Poted by Arota on 27 Apr 2006 16:27 -
Hah, Sarkis, you're amazing.  I'd be your first convert. *snicker* Though I'd never become a Sentaari.  Paladin all the way.  It's a matter of principle for me now, to get to GR3 and gain class...
Poted by Sarkis on 27 Apr 2006 18:48 -
Of course I'm amazing, damnit! I'm the High Mighty Grandmaster of Awesome and Cool! Sheeeeesh.

...*cough* Ok, Initiate Arota, you can go out and find me three camels with no legs that float upside down and sing hymns in swahili. Only then will I allow you to understand my deepest inner teaching. Oh, and after I relieve you of all worldy possessions, since I am the onyl one with the wisdom and clarity to manage them without submitting to the ways of the world

All hail the mighty Quasi-kumquat of the new Banana age and furits! Tadeelaa!
Poted by Arota on 28 Apr 2006 16:27 -
Heil Sarkis! *salutes*

Unfortunately, you will be unable to relieve me of all my worldly possessions.   The pipes wouldn't stay with you for long...and really, why would you want my armour?  Also, Frojay wouldn't listen to you.  But you can have everything but my pipes, armour, and falcon. *hides the comms in her cache that she could use to replenish just about everything*
Poted by Sarkis on 28 Apr 2006 21:25 -
Brother Bruno and Brother Knuckles will then commense with a "shake-down" ritual, to make sure you are not hiding anything from me.

Also, I require the blood of newbies in a trough.
Poted by Arota on 28 Apr 2006 23:53 -
...How about roasted squire?  Or stewed knight aspirant?  Limited time offer, since pally novice system (shhhh!) is about to change, and knight aspirants won't exist anymore...at least under that name.
Poted by Asilient on 02 May 2006 23:28 -

You're giving me away!?
Poted by Yreogh on 02 May 2006 23:57 -
Yes.  No one wants to keep an Asi.
Poted by Arota on 03 May 2006 02:25 -
Well, technically, you don't belong to me, unless slavery was recently introduced.  If it did, and somehow you ended up being my legal slave, then you'd be added to the list of things I wouldn't give away.  I have a feeling you'd just be like my arti pipes, anyways, and keep coming back no matter how often I gave you away.
Poted by Yreogh on 03 May 2006 02:39 -
Awwww-dorable
Poted by Arota on 03 May 2006 02:43 -
I do try. Though not all that hard, since it's easy to be adorable with Asilient around.
Poted by Sarkis on 06 May 2006 00:12 -
*eyeshift* *sidle Asilient* *nudge*
Poted by Arota on 06 May 2006 03:50 -
*eye Sarkis* Watch it there.
Poted by Yreogh on 06 May 2006 03:59 -
Is Arota as jealous as Asi?
Poted by Arota on 06 May 2006 04:00 -
As jealously protective, you mean?

Um...

YES.
Poted by Yreogh on 06 May 2006 04:02 -
*snap*  Oh, well.
Poted by Sarkis on 09 May 2006 06:22 -
What!? ...lookit him. It's hard not to sidle up and nudge him. He practically BEGS to be sidled up to and nudged. Otherwise he looks lonely and sad and I would cry some.
Poted by Arota on 09 May 2006 18:47 -
...that's not only very strange, but mildly disturbing.

But then, what else do I expect from a guy who messages my guildmaster saying I suggested selling cake in the guildshop when he's the one who wanted it in the first place? *mutter*

You know Koron was in the realms and asked me right away about that, don't you Sarkis?  Unfortunately, I was fighting thugs at the time...otherwise I could've had fun with it.
Poted by Sarkis on 09 May 2006 20:59 -
I know he was, but I wanted to leave him a record to refer back on my most excellent idea.
Poted by Arota on 10 May 2006 01:18 -
Heh.  I doubt he will.  I don't think any paladins even have cooking as a trade skill...odd that, especially since we can make the pots and pans for it. *ponder*

Heh.  Someday I'm going to go buy a bunch of iron and forge me a bunch of pots and pans.  Then go around throwing them at random people.  Or have Frojay drop them on Infernal's heads.  Much more fun than cheese...though not as much fun as pie, since pie goes splat and makes a very amusing mess all over Infernal armor.  And Paladin armor, for that matter, but we won't go there.
Poted by Yreogh on 10 May 2006 02:22 -
Right after I got tracking, I went around throwing pie at people.
Poted by Arota on 10 May 2006 02:24 -
Same with me when I got Falcon Deliver.  Dropped pie on everyone I'd even vaguely heard of, up to and including Zephy. *snicker*
Poted by Yreogh on 10 May 2006 02:31 -
Oh, don't remind me, please.
Poted by Arota on 10 May 2006 02:33 -
What, did I drop some on you or something?  If I did, fair's fair.
Poted by Sarkis on 10 May 2006 02:34 -
Meh...I can't wait to get mind command.
Poted by Yreogh on 10 May 2006 02:36 -
No don't remind me about Zephy.  Bleh.
Poted by Arota on 10 May 2006 02:36 -
I have a feeling that's like a worse form of Devotion's Force, isn't it?  *mutter*
Poted by Sarkis on 10 May 2006 02:37 -
Mind command can be done from rooms away, and you don't know who forced you to do it. Yes, much worse.
Poted by Arota on 10 May 2006 02:39 -
...Operation: Steal One Of Sarkis' Abilities commences shortly.

*is jealous*  I could have such fun with Koron with that skill...
Poted by Yreogh on 10 May 2006 02:39 -
Oh, that's mean.
Poted by Sarkis on 10 May 2006 03:03 -
I'll have lots of fun with that skill. Eheheheheheh.
Poted by Arota on 10 May 2006 03:06 -
I'll just go hide in my alts for a bit, methinks.
