Dunno bout anybody else, but if I had any complaints about Daskalos other than "he's a little shallow", I wouldn't stop myself from telling him off just because he would kill me. Hell, I KNEW Kiyotan was a sure-fire bet for a future GM, and I still blasted him for things when he was just the HoN. and a lot more was at stake there than just my life, since I didn't get class until just recently.

No, he's Vanguard because he's lovable and cuddly...though undead and necromancers tend to see the pointy side of his lovable cuddliness.

My opinion of Daskalos is that he can be likeable, provided you don't directly disrespect his authority, or social standing. If you do that, he will not like you at all. HE can be something of a prick, but nothign close to what Aren or OSifer has done to various people merely on a whim. Daskalos may be harsh at times, but those two...oi.Jelo, you set yourself up as a nail that needed to be hammered down, and Daskalos certainly had a mace to do it with. I know a lot of leaders who would have probably killed you if you had said some of those things.
And...
...anyone who wants to rule a city, guild, or similar organization is probably ambitious and soemthing of a powerwhore. That doens't make them automatically a bad person.

no no, I used to think he was a good person, but many things have changed my opinion. For instance, one of his guild members, he probated, told he couldn't leave the city to fight or bash, even leave it at all, and that he couldn't even rat... for 2 years. That is abusing your power, pure and simple
