Ok, those of you who landmark might know of some of the funny things that can happen... Especially towards the end of the season... Last month of the season and I'm busy working the Garden landmark. An Infernal waits outside, so I go to the tree tops to get past without being seen and drop down into the Garden to release the butterflies...The Garden of Rapture.

Then I walk out to see my little friend waiting outside.. (Who I upset earlier by releasing butterflies under their nose...)

Actually that entire bunch is by far not as bad even as Mikal alone ... although one warding rite, one convo and they are all running for their lives .. although Borscin is doing all the job (I only come with tactics

Heh. I remember when the Shrine used to be know as the Slaughtering Ground...for the good guys. Beh. I used to be the only Paladin that would go there, and that was only because I was (a) stupid, and (b) so weak none of the bad guys really felt threatened by me. *wry* Or wait, let me rephrase that, I was the only Paladin that would go there ALONE. Everyone else would go in groups of five or so. It was awesome when we did that...Like group bashing in Azdun.

I remember I had Ikne or somebody siccing all their ents on me, but they didn't have a hammer tat and I had shield up, so the ents weren't doing much. And nobody would help me...so it was like 'well, nobodies helping me, I haven't a prayer of beating him, and he can't touch me until I do something agressive or move...hm...' And then I quit the realm. Came back an Aetolian day later and all was good. Sort of cowardly, but I prefer to live and fight another day than to fight a losing battle. So what if I landmark Necro *grin* I have alot of friends many with hoods of elusion or gems of cloaking so the shrine is not that bad for me, I quite often Landmark the others though, get notes, bw's etc. I just find the shrine is the one most people can relate to. Bah, you people work landmarks the wrong way. Best thing about landmarks..I could go into one of the rooms and even go to sleep and not generally be killed. That would be, um, because you're of a NEUTRAL guild. I ran through the sphinx room on my way out of the Mhojave once, and they killed me simply for that. The protestation that I wasn't even landmarking wouldn't even work...mostly because I was still holding the black sands, but STILL. I had no notes, I didn't stop to hand IN notes... Hah, yeah. I ran into someone from the other side once while showing a novice landmarks. They just sort of looked at me, looked at the novice, went 'oh good, you're training lunch!' and walked off.
