Yeah. But they get slown down whe they have to chage from gas to solid

Earwax isn't really solid, since it's perforated and all... would negate a lot of the waves. You lose, Yreogh.

Eardrum is sensitive enough to pick up soun vibrations from places other than your ear canal.  Like, your jawbone.  I still win.

While Yreogh is right...if he did have excessive ear wax buildup, he wouldn't be able to decipher the sounds into words. He would just hear muffled noises. While they would be louder, they wouldn't be distinguishable. Kinda like when you cover your ears and hum.
