Nice try, but you need a sharper one.

Add to the fact it was a neck blow...and you're screwed...if not an outright decapitation, then major blood loss and trauma to your nervous system. You'd be a vegetable. |

*EDIT* Believiable?
...meh, like how one person tried to tell me a sword made of solid lead could cut through anything?
Remember, I do collect swords as well as study Eishin-Ryu Iaido. |

By the way, I believe that there fancy looking foreign phrase alludes to the fact that Sarkis not only collects swords, but practices with them in a manner that, if properly done, harmonizes both mind and body, and hones his skills, reflexes, and concentration to a zen-like level...though please, correct me if im wrong, as you would no doubt have done regardless.
If I remember correctly, Iaido involves a style of combat where the wielder fluidly combats with every stroke, including the initial movement of unsheathing the blade-practiced to be a one move kill. That could be something else entirely though... |

Basicly, the intial movement is meant to kill, and also allow you to follow with further offensive, or defensive maneuvers. Where as Kendo is msotly about rapid strike sword play, it's slightly more sport like, in that you'd never use a real sword in Kendo, and you get points for scoring certain hits. In Iaido, you are graded on your bearing, form, and overall skill you demonstrate as you perform various movements, and places high emphasis on focusing your mind and body to flow together. *hum* |
