AKA, why rapiers are so much better than axes:

A sharpened quarterstaff clatters to the ground as Gillbert's poorly-aimed
throw misses Oryius.

Gillbert picks up a sharpened quarterstaff.

Gillbert starts to wield a sharpened quarterstaff in his hands.

You lash out at Gillbert with a dwarven battleaxe, but miss.

Gillbert picks up a sharpened quarterstaff.

You snicker softly to yourself.

You cease to wield a dwarven battleaxe in your right hand, securing it
conveniently on your weaponbelt.

You cease to wield a dwarven battleaxe in your left hand, securing it
conveniently on your weaponbelt.

You pull an ornate steel rapier from your weaponbelt fluidly.
You begin to wield an ornate steel rapier in your left hand.

You pull an ornate steel rapier from your weaponbelt fluidly.
You begin to wield an ornate steel rapier in your right hand.

You viciously stab an ornate steel rapier into Gillbert.

You nod your head sagely.

You say, "There we go."

Gillbert brings a sharpened quarterstaff crashing down on you.
You quickly jump back, avoiding the attack.


Don't ask me what Gillbert's doing with a druidic quarterstaff.
