Take the set of values [25, 65, 100, 87, 92]. Call them test grades. Arrange them in ascending order [25, 65, 87, 92, 100] /\ Median Average is Ex [25, 65, 87, 92, 100]= 369 Divided by the number of values, five in this case. 369/5= 73.8 Fewer than half the values are below the mean, but exactly half are below the median. | ||
