Poted by Arota on 07 Nov 2005 23:29 -
Yeah, it's ridiculous...and for the niece to moose thin: neice, meese, moose.
Poted by Arynn on 07 Nov 2005 23:29 -
L'oringac, though it may be spelt wrong, is French for moose
Poted by Arynn on 07 Nov 2005 23:28 -
We've posted like...240 words...
Poted by Arota on 07 Nov 2005 23:27 -
I know!  I need to take out the garbage and eat1  But I don't want to gooooo...
Poted by Arynn on 07 Nov 2005 23:27 -
Must...do...homework...but...so...addicted..
Poted by Arota on 07 Nov 2005 23:23 -
Hah, I wouldn't be surprised.  i almost broke myself on Aetolia.  stupid thugs.
Poted by Arynn on 07 Nov 2005 23:21 -
I think we broke the forums
Poted by Arota on 07 Nov 2005 23:19 -
heh heh, yeah, but this time I refuse to delete my post.
Poted by Arynn on 07 Nov 2005 23:18 -
You two did it!
Poted by Arynn on 07 Nov 2005 23:12 -
>_<
Poted by Arota on 07 Nov 2005 23:11 -
Just a bit.
Poted by Yreogh on 07 Nov 2005 23:10 -
I had a Superman comic as a youngun.  He was battling the Magpie.

Also, can you tell I hate my roomate?
Poted by Arota on 07 Nov 2005 23:07 -
OK, was that batman to magpie, or what? O.o
Poted by Arynn on 07 Nov 2005 23:02 -
Tahrin isn't to good at this *grin*

*EDIT* But I will be nice to her, or I will find my posts being mysteriously edited or deleted for hitherto unknown reasons, and persons.
Poted by Arynn on 07 Nov 2005 23:01 -
Mhmm! Like knight and fruit!
Poted by Arota on 07 Nov 2005 23:00 -
What's really amazing is how well some of these words fit together even with the overlap/delete/editted posts
Poted by Arynn on 07 Nov 2005 22:57 -
^_^
Poted by Arota on 07 Nov 2005 22:56 -
Haha, yeah, that was awsome.
Poted by Arynn on 07 Nov 2005 22:55 -
I still love that baby/baby me and you did Arota, right at the same time
Poted by Arota on 07 Nov 2005 22:54 -
Doesn't help that we keep replying at the same time as other people and then editting/deleteing our posts...
Poted by Arynn on 07 Nov 2005 22:51 -
Good, that had me confused >_<
Poted by Yreogh on 07 Nov 2005 22:48 -
For instance, Chicken-Winslow.
Winslow is Murray State's dining hall.  serves an assload of chicken
Poted by Yreogh on 07 Nov 2005 22:36 - Explaining the WA game
This is for all those "HUH?" combos we get.  Also, if you do come up with a word that's not English or a common loanword, explain it here.
Poted by Yreogh on 08 Nov 2005 00:00 -
Yell at the tin webmonkey!
Poted by Arynn on 08 Nov 2005 00:01 -
I did ^_^
Poted by Avian on 08 Nov 2005 00:19 -
...I don't get it...what are we doing...?
Poted by Yreogh on 08 Nov 2005 05:20 -
Lightsaber-Hawk
Hawk is one of the SCA guys.  Works for Nasa.  Got to play with what is essentially an oversized LS prototype
Poted by Indiana on 08 Nov 2005 06:01 -
Awwww, my ears! Who broke what? I don't see anything wrong!
Poted by Sarkis on 08 Nov 2005 06:57 -
hmm?
Poted by Arynn on 08 Nov 2005 13:41 -
The WA game and this thread are always saying there are new posts but there aren't.
Poted by Indiana on 08 Nov 2005 13:57 -
A post that you didn't read might be on a page you missed although you read perhaps the last page of the topic, or a post was deleted meanwhile. Anyway, you can use the " Mark all forums as read" link from the main page of forums to fix that.
Poted by Sarkis on 08 Nov 2005 14:10 -
You may also want to see if any posts were edited, that'll doi it too.
Poted by Arynn on 08 Nov 2005 21:41 -
Fixed ^_^
Poted by Yreogh on 09 Nov 2005 17:00 -
Three pages more for WAG and it will catch up with the oft-derailed Pics and Porttraits topic.  Woo!
Poted by Yreogh on 10 Nov 2005 16:34 -
I'm taking metalsmithing next semester to balance out my three labs.
Maybe I'll be able to make my own armor, or at the very least, doodads for my own armor.
Poted by Arota on 10 Nov 2005 16:41 -
Oooo, armor.

I'm buying my sister and soon-to-be brother-in-law a sword for their wedding present. *snicker*  Just because I refuse to give useful gifts...I'm still trying to decide between one of the random swords in the knife shop, or one of the ones from lord of the rings.
Poted by Yreogh on 10 Nov 2005 16:42 -
If you're going to give someone a sword, it ought to be a decent blade.
Poted by Sarkis on 10 Nov 2005 19:58 -
Aye, all too often, peopel buy the completely crappy replica stuff made for the drooling mouth breathing ignorant masses.

Try looking at Ritter steel, if they are still around, or one of Paul Chen's works.

Also, there are many small weapons smiths around who actually make decent, to good quality work at a decent price. unless of course you are a collector of actual weapons from prior times. So far, I have an inglish Cavalry Saber from India, and I've been striving like mad to find a small Shin-gunto from WW2 Japan.
Poted by Yreogh on 11 Nov 2005 18:21 -
Find your local SCA kingdom/shire/dukedom.  They'll know where to get good blades
Poted by Sarkis on 11 Nov 2005 18:35 -
Ok, yes, they do too.
Poted by Yreogh on 11 Nov 2005 19:01 -
Someone else who know what the SCA is!  Whoo!
Poted by Sarkis on 11 Nov 2005 19:23 -
of course I do!
Poted by Arota on 11 Nov 2005 19:32 -
I was involved in my local SCA for awhile.  They're a bunch of shit-heads. (no, seriously, one spent an entire coronet hitting on my sister, and then later we heard that he threw knives at his roommate.  And we won't mention his pets, which are classified as dangerous creatures) and...yeah.  The local SCA is a bunch of losers.

I f they were actually worth anything, I might actually still be doing archery and would indeed ask them about swords.  But they're not so I'm not and I won't...*mutter*
Poted by Sarkis on 11 Nov 2005 19:37 -
Your life sucks.
Poted by Arota on 11 Nov 2005 19:40 -
No, my local SCA sucks.
Poted by Sarkis on 11 Nov 2005 19:42 -
right, right.
Poted by Yreogh on 11 Nov 2005 21:12 -
Ours Roxxors
Poted by Sarkis on 11 Nov 2005 23:34 -
Al-behd is an imaginary culture form a game I once played.
Poted by Arynn on 12 Nov 2005 00:25 -
Sylrehy is Machina in Al-bhed. Also, I thought of Reboot when I saw Hexadecimal too ^_^
Poted by Yreogh on 13 Nov 2005 19:24 -
How did you get horses from strumpet, I wonder?
Poted by Sarkis on 15 Nov 2005 13:58 -
Movie I watched. Lady Hawk, kid calls a horse a strumpet.
Poted by Arota on 15 Nov 2005 17:24 -
I remember the movie Lady Hawk...my dad's cousin had it when she was staying with us to finish her degree...I was a young'un at the time and my parents wouldn't let me watch it, though, so all I ever saw was the front of the case. *twitchy*
Poted by Kealiock on 15 Nov 2005 19:55 -
avian

ill let you contemplate -what- i meant by that
Poted by Avian on 15 Nov 2005 20:58 -
*order bees kill Kealiock*
Poted by Kealiock on 16 Nov 2005 04:20 -

Poted by Avian on 17 Nov 2005 00:29 -
*issue Kealiock*
Poted by Kealiock on 17 Nov 2005 03:10 -
i love you too avian... and i dont think they would take an issue from you about defending myself
Poted by Arynn on 17 Nov 2005 04:56 -
Or would they?
Poted by Arota on 17 Nov 2005 19:03 -
You never know.  The Admin can be weird that way...

Though, to be fair, they did give me back my gold that decayed...
Poted by Kealiock on 18 Nov 2005 20:02 -
the myth of the decaying gold...
Poted by Arota on 18 Nov 2005 20:23 -
No, seriously  Some of my gold decayed.  The non-commodity type.  Ask Asilient.
Poted by Avian on 19 Nov 2005 01:03 -
Because of course, Asilient is totally unbiased.
Poted by Sarkis on 19 Nov 2005 01:49 -
...
Poted by Arota on 19 Nov 2005 02:13 -
Because of course, Asilient is totally unbiased.

Actually, it happened way before we got married...or engaged...he was still a squire at the time, in fact.  But it was cool.  The celani came in with a flurry of snowflakes and was...all cool and celani-ish.

And about the WA game?  I knew the instant I put in Manga that the next word was going to be Mango.
Poted by Arynn on 19 Nov 2005 02:35 -
Snowflakes would be Ileana, she's awesome.
Poted by Arota on 19 Nov 2005 03:28 -
Yeah, it was Ileana...couldn't remember until you mentioned her name, though.  And she is awasome.  But yeah....that whole experience was funny, cuz I spoke to one Celani, got a mis-tell from Belakai and ended up talking to him about it, then got the gold back from Ileana, who wasn't the Celani I'd started talking to.  And only the first Celani had been on the WHO list.  It was like 'eeep, divine coming out of the woodwork!'
Poted by Sarkis on 19 Nov 2005 05:48 -
Eh, it happens.

I issued Uther and Sigfried, and like...WHAM!...two admins slam me with questions
Poted by Arota on 19 Nov 2005 21:22 -
Sneaky admin-divine type people.  I swear they all just sit around in the divine garden waiting for things to happen, then pounce of the poor souls who report something happening.

Aaaaand...we won't mention listening on random conversations in Moghedu, where they then promptly take over one of the miners there and scare the crap out of the people having the random conversation.
Poted by Arynn on 20 Nov 2005 08:33 -
Heh, I love it when they take over random mobs. I've had great conversations with humgiis, guards, even a chipmunk.
Poted by Arynn on 20 Nov 2005 18:09 -
Pa-tay-toe Poe-ta-toe
It's suppose to be a really dumb joke.
Poted by Arota on 20 Nov 2005 19:14 -
I figured that's what was going on there.

It was made funny for me, even though it's a bad joke, because I just saw the star trek episode 'Datalore' last night, where Lore starts singing the little 'you say pa-tay-toe, I say pay-ta-toe' diddy...
Poted by Avian on 20 Nov 2005 19:18 -
Arota's a Trekkie!
Poted by Arota on 20 Nov 2005 19:21 -
Actually, my dad is.  I'm just along for the ride.  I do like my science fiction TV shows, though.

My real gig is fantasy, however, as evidenced by the fact that I play Aetolia.
Poted by Arynn on 20 Nov 2005 19:27 -
Fantasy FTW
Poted by Sarkis on 20 Nov 2005 21:24 -
Right...right...
Poted by Arynn on 21 Nov 2005 06:29 -
Avian's priceless because no one would ever want to buy him.
Poted by Arota on 21 Nov 2005 18:26 -
I always relate cruise ships to ferries, and the first several times I was on the newfoundland ferry, it was delayed because of a hurricane.
Poted by Yreogh on 21 Nov 2005 19:25 -
Two tornadoes passed by Murray last Tuesday.
Poted by Yreogh on 22 Nov 2005 18:11 -
Desk= broken because both my desks, back when I was in JROTC, (CSM and S1) were ALWAYS broken.
Poted by Arynn on 24 Nov 2005 01:28 -
In Imperian in some place a while ago you had the chance, when casting in certain areas, of getting a mana surge and in some places it would be bad and you'd blow up.
Poted by Arynn on 24 Nov 2005 08:45 -
Fatigue reminds me of Hockey because I was watching my brothers play a hockey game on the xbox once and they were checking the stats and noticed the players had fat-a-goo.
Poted by Yreogh on 24 Nov 2005 18:06 -
Arr oh eff el!
Poted by Arota on 25 Nov 2005 06:17 -
On finite to frost bite...I haven't a clue.  I just saw 'finite' and a little voice inside me went 'frost bite!'...
Poted by Arynn on 25 Nov 2005 06:20 -
Rhyme
Poted by Arota on 25 Nov 2005 06:27 -
Propeller hats->Snoopy:  Ever heard the snoopy songs 'Snoopy vs. The Red Baron' or 'Christmas Bells' by the Royal Guardsmen?  At least one of them has the sound of the old propeller-driven planes in it.
Poted by Arynn on 25 Nov 2005 06:44 -
Watched a movie once about the west where they called people greenhorns.
Poted by Arota on 25 Nov 2005 06:47 -
*snicker*  *knows that term very, very well*
Poted by Arynn on 25 Nov 2005 07:01 -
Strip Mall, just in case the poker part through anyone off, I ignored it ^_^
Poted by Sarkis on 27 Nov 2005 03:59 -
Nut was the godess who held up the sky, in Egyptian mythology, I believe.
Poted by Arynn on 27 Nov 2005 04:17 -
Horus just sounds like a turtle's name.
Poted by Yreogh on 29 Nov 2005 09:55 -
Winslow serves an ungodly amount of chicken.
Poted by Sarkis on 30 Nov 2005 21:57 -
You're obsessed with what they serve for lunch!
Poted by Yreogh on 30 Nov 2005 22:18 -
Because that's where I eat everyda, being a broke college student!
Poted by Sarkis on 01 Dec 2005 02:58 -
Ohohohooo...I know what that is like.

...we had lots of...grease.

we had a name for it, because we all thought it was recycled...

Gary Grease, the unnofficial school mascot.
Poted by Arynn on 05 Dec 2005 13:33 -
Someone needs to explain hour Colorado's expensive...O.o?
Poted by Sarkis on 05 Dec 2005 16:32 -
Ha! I knew you lived in Colorado.

Anyway...*cough*

Colorado can be very expensive, especially some of those mountain ski towns during season.
Poted by Avian on 05 Dec 2005 18:38 -
California's more expensive.
