So me and Yreogh went to Buzzfest in Nashville yesterday. The whole ride up there we were trying to figure out how to get there without getting lost (because my printer sliced the directions in half, so we had to guesstimate) and at every exit marker Yreogh would say something like, "Two miles!" and we'd both yell out "WoooOOoOO!" or something. Just to be silly. Hooray for silly!
Anywho! We get to the concert at around fourish.(Shirtless people are everywhere! Guys and girls just walking around half-naked. It wasn't even that hot!) Find a nice spot on a hill with some grass and I get to break out my Fairly OddParents towel. (*snicker* Fear me, for I am hardcore) When we get there, there's already a band warming up the crowd for the headliners, I think they were called Cowboy Mouth. Yreogh really liked 'em and is probably pirating their music as I type this. I see you! Anyhow, in the middle of one of their songs the singer yells out, "Red head get down!" and my first reaction was to lay back on the grass 'cuz I was already sitting. For a whole split second I thought he had actually seen me all the way up the hill, but...probably not. Yreogh was highly amused though.
Stuff happened, Breaking Benjamin played (who I love and came to see), there was a giant moshpit of like...50 people. An emo kid wearing a purple bandana around his neck and girl-pants, which later I wondered how he got in to, and how he was going to get out of again. (*snickers go here*) Oh, and Yreogh doesn't like 3 days Grace...I don't blame her too much. We didn't stay to see Staind 'cuz it was already gettin' to be 10, and we didn't feel like driving through Nashville in the middle of the night with a bunch of drunk concert honkies.Poted by Sarkis on 27 Aug 2006 16:43 -Awww! ...I wish I coulda gone too. In the middle of one of the songs, and the singer was talking. "Alright, I want you to trust me, cause I'm gonna ask you a favor. Everybody get down [chant] everybody get down, everybody get down [/chant] You in the mosh pit, get down! RedHEAD, GET DOWN!"
I wonder how Emo Kid is. He had the Emo haircut, too. You know the one I'm talking about, all asymmetrical. And I believe, on the way home, Jaha's exact words were, "I wonder how he'll get out of those later?"
