Poted by Jahara on 28 Dec 2006 22:24 - MERRY CHRISTMAHAUNAKAWNZAKA!
Or however you spell that! Merry...err..that! Happy holidays to everyone! So...what did you all do for the holidays? I took my merry little bum to Arkansas! The place of no cell phone coverage! None! I spent a week there with no cell phone, I get my phone back up and i've got like...twenty something missed calls. ( I think they were all mostly Sarkis.) Oh well...let's hear some stories!

Er, well.. my Boyfriend broke up with me on Christmas Eve, as you know at least. So I wasn't to excited to get up on Christmas.. so when I finally got up everybody had already opened their gifts and mine were the only ones left.. -_-. So then, yea.. I went to see my dad. We went to his house and opened gifts, that was fun.. then we drove allll te way up to Crestview. Which, is like an hours drive.. listened to the Cd Cosey made me on the way up. In Crestview we were at my aunts house where everyone on my dads side that could be there was there. That was a buncha fun, ya. We played a game called 'dirty Santa'.. I don't feel like explaining it, but.. I got a key ring. My Uncle got a 'my little pony' doll.. and my aunt got a stuffed possum. That was funneh stuff.. and I have enough chocolate to feed an arm.. well. A small one. But still. Then we went home.. and I moped around my house all day. and.. I'm still moping, sorta. It was fun. I got a bicycle.. needed one of those..

....you're filling arms with chocolate? Little ones?! BABY ARMS! Tah-tah's filling baby arms with chocolate!! I always knew they were a little chubby. I thought they were just cute with baby fat...now I know it's Tahrin's diabolical chocolate stuffing.

anyway...whee! Bicycle...jeebus, I haven't ridden a bicycle in like...ten years.

.. Yes. Thats exactly what I'm doing. But, its so they can grow strong with chocolate immunity and not get fat when next Christmas rolls around! Unlike you, because you didn't get to be stuffed with Chocolate. Mrs. You-talk-more-like-Sarkis-Every-Day.

...wow, christmas really DID suck across the board this year.

Yeah.  My bother-in-law and sister moved into our basement the week before christmas, so we were all terribly busy and distracted.  It wasn't until three or four days before christmas eve that I decided enough was enough and decorated the house for christmas in the 1/2 hour I had before I needed to go to work.  Usually, we decorate as a family thing, but if we'd waited, we wouldn't have decorated until Christmas Eve...

Beyond that, Christmas just sort of...lacked something for me.  Iunno.  It didn't seem as exciting as it normally does.

And yeah.  Everybody else in the house got chocolate except for me.  It was really weird. O.o Fortunately, someone I know got a 2kg bar of milk chocolate and has shared.

All of my family went abroad and left me alone for christmas. I felt like the little puppy on christmas day.

i agree with Arota, x-mas this year sucked big time. my bro (who usually hosts the awsomest x-mas parties as a dj) had to spend x-mas sober, didn't get to see my dad drunk giving everyone around shooter of Ochlaga (however you say that), so yeah, we played musical chair, exchanged gifts (I got none  ) and then dispersed... I hope new year's party will be better... at least I know I'm getting 2 assured gifts hehe. but yeah, x-mas sucked, and new year will prolly suck just as much. Hope its better for all of you

Hmmm let me see christmas....ah yes that stupid day in the year. Well almost everybody in my family is sick so no party or anything. Although the same doesn't go for my dogs. They surely did enjoy eating all the food that was supposed to be for the family.

And I think I'm gonna get my woman pregnant as my own new years gift so....new years will be better than christmas for sure.

All those missed calls were in fact me. Frantically trying to reach you...

I spent a miserable, lonely christmas with my family. I got nearly nothing from my siblings, to be honest. We're all rather poor... Err...and I had to spend my christmas "Vacation" with my twin. My  diabolical, crack-fiend, Gary-Busey-laughing, crazy-as-all-hell-in-a-cherry-tree(new phrase!) twin. Ginger can attest to how much of a psycho he can be. Even compared to me, he's exceedingly strange. And infinitely more annoying. *sob*

And we got snowed in for 3 days. Highways, airports, walmarts...all closed.

Hmmm..

Yes...David really is that insane.

Highways, airports, walmarts...all closed.

Our walmarts decided to stay open 24 hours for the holiday season...it was stupid.
Poted by Sarkis on 10 Jan 2007 15:38 -
...Walmarts around these parts are open rain or shine, tornado or rapture.
But if one closes due to weather, you know it's really bad weather.

Your average supercenter pulls in about a million a week, if not more.

I remember being in a Wal-Mart during a tornado warning, they advised the shoppers to either leave, or go to the rear of the building in some bunker thingie....no one really moved.
