I need a new alt.

Currently I have two characters.

I'm thinkin'... Paladin...

But I'm not sure if I should go Dwarf or Mhun.

Suggestions?

Names are nice too.

Weapon choices...

Also...

How many of you have alts? And who are they?

I'll tell you if you tell me

I hate alts ... HATE ... although I'm fairly sure more than half of the players have at least one alt *shrug* I don't know why people don't just focus on one character, I hate the idea of having an alt .. although I do admit I created a character daru only to see why the heck they are so tanky .. only made me realise they suck badly as novices .. well, not as much as paladin novices, but anyway.

I make alts so I don't get bored.  Also to find out about the skills in the other guilds.  I once knew the novice skills of every single freaking guild, save for the vampires, which weren't a guild back then, anyways.  They the Occultists went and split, and the Priests imploded, and new guilds popped up...and that was the end of my super skill knowledge.

And to be honest Indi?  I do focus on one character.  Arota.  But when I'm bored and have nothing to do with her (like when her hubbys disapeared for a couple weeks...*eye Asilient*) I switch to one of my alts and run around having fun doing various things.  Like pearling or harvesting.  And they're all lower levels, so they'll actually level-up when I take them bashing!  Which keeps me from getting depressed about not levelling as Arota.

Honestly, people mostly do concentrate on one character.

But that gets boring sometimes.

My Daru kicks butt.

I put way more effort into Avian though... seriously, my Daru is only level 58

I have a Daru alt. Level 56 or something, silver belt in tekura. Really sucks. I used him to see how my curing works.

ALts are kinda scary, for me.

I'm addicted enough to Aetolia as it is.

Yeah...my alts just make m even more addicted.  Though I tend to ignore them for...well, months at a time, especially if they're out of novicehood.  Which, actually, two of them aren't...and I actually need to corner Belakai in one of them. *grumble*

An alt for every class is my suggestion . But I play Aetolia mostly for combat, to be honest.  The roleplay sorta died for me around the time of the Ashtan war.  I log on, script, chat now and again, go back to scripting and log off - with the occasional spar here and there.  I like to get to know the classes I'm up against.  And there's just something about getting new skills that's , I don't know, really satisfying.   I sometimes wish I had concentrated solely on Drahkuna, though. Who knows where I'd have taken him by now with all that divided effort.

Being on the subject, my favorite class to play has got to be Sentinel. So much variety in the skillsets.  The guildmembers are great. The GM's both active AND worthy of her position.

Nah... I hate mana use... double the drain, half the efficiency.

Besides, I already have class as a Druid, and I can regenerate endurance quickly whereas willpower is much harder.
