I don't generally deal with enough people from other guilds to get a solid impression of them.  Most of the non-Sentinel folk I know are family, so I don't think of them as part of the guild, I think of them as a people.

Aaaand, we do have squirrel morph, so that may explain a few things.

Now, the true question is, do the guilds attract people with that characteristic or quality, or do they make them that way?  We get cubs who are reasonable and polite at the beginning, but I guess the exposure to the silliness breaks down that armor.

Also, we appear to breed ours.

Personally I believe it is the mentors who mould their proteges into full guild members... So if you're all -pouncesnugglesquee!- with them they're likely to grow about it. Of course the rest of the guild may have an effect on this too. But not anymore so than the mentor, I'd say...

The Yreogh is anti-snuggling on principle.
I just greet my guildmates enthusiastically, for the most part.  There are folks I don't pounce.
Cilsen, cause he doesn't like to be touched.
Rhaea, cause she's our GM.  Unless she pounces first.
And Nighty, because I don't really know him.

I try to introduce my cubs to folk who I think will be a positive influence.  Easiest way to do this is to send them to someone else when I don't know an answer.  Like Puck.  Puck is definitely ranger-type material.  When he asks a question about combat, I usually don't know the answer.  Often, I'll just ask on GT, but sometimes I send them to more combat-oriented folk for answers, instead.
